British Airways and the San Diego Airport Authority have partnered to host a celebration on April 25, to commemorate the launch of the second daily non-stop London to San Diego-Heathrow flight. Emily Cloke, the British Consul General in Los Angeles will attend and the BABCSD Board is honored to attend as representatives of the British-American business community. The BABCSD will be organizing a no-host networking mixer on the fourth Tuesday of every month, starting May 28. The venue is New English Brewing, 11545 Sorrento Valley Road, Suite 305, San Diego, CA 92121. This is a great opportunity to come out and meet the BABCSD board and find out more about our organization. This event is open to both members and non-members.
Calling all soccer fans! Manchester United is coming to San Diego, scheduled to play Real Betis in a Premier League VS LaLiga match-up at the Snapdragon Stadium. Wednesday, July 31 is the date to add to your calendar for this exciting event. BABCSD is joining forces with London & Partners to provide some of the best seats in the house. This will be a limited-opportunity event for members only.
Friday, September 6 is our Race Day event at Del Mar‘s iconic race track. Our members will have the chance to join us in placing a bet or two while meeting some local like-minded Anglo-Americans in a relaxed setting. And while it’s not quite the Royal Ascot Races, where hats are almost as big a draw as the horses, we might be looking to award prizes for the best headgear!
